About FIRST
FIRST, which stands for "For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology", is an organization that fosters a deep appreciation of STEM in students around the world. Students will build and test robots, fund raise, plan events, and reach out to have a positive impact in their community. FIRST hosts yearly competitions that combine science and robotics with the competitive spirit of sports.
FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a yearly competition in which students in grades 9-12 apply themselves to build robots and organize a team to compete against other students from around the world in competition.
